Secure an Article

Articles in the Areas of Expertise sections can be secured so that only authorized users can see them.

To secure an Article:
  1. Go to the article (in VIEW mode).
  2. In the green framing bar, select the STATE drop-down menu.
  3. Set the state to “SECURE”.

To un-restrict an article that has been secured:
  1. Go to the article (in VIEW mode).
  2. In the green framing bar, select the STATE drop-down menu.
  3. Set the STATE to “RETRACT”.

The method for authorizing a user to view secure Articles is identical to the process for “Setting an Existing User to be a Subscriber”.
